The Finance Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 298 An                        
Act relating to the compensation of certain public employees and               
officials not covered by collective bargaining agreements; and                 
providing for an effective date and recommended it be replaced                 
with                                                                           
                                                                               
CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 298(FIN) An Act                                        
relating to the compensation and benefits of certain                           
public employees not covered by collective                                     
bargaining agreements and certain officials not                                
covered by collective bargaining agreements; and                               
providing for an effective date.
